BRR provides an easy way to choose route and train independently for BVE. In addition, it can do some tricks to add variety to the routes, no two runs will ever be the same.
Features of BRR v10.2
- Randomized signalling - signals don't always show the same aspects for every run, making the runs more interesting
- Randomized path - your train can be diverted to run on other tracks than usually, not possible without BRR or similar other program
- Altered timetable - choose the starting time for your timetable, or have BRR synchronize the timetable to real-time
- Custom signal systems - choose different signals than those of BVE
- Help for route developers to check their route for errors, and a custom scripting language for creating complex effects to routes
- ... plus other simpler but not insignificant features
Features of BRR NET v1
- Choose which train you want to drive on a route without editing route files.
- Randomise signalling delays.
- Edit train timetable.
- Edit starting state of the train.
- Developer tools: Optimise route file and correct errors
