Chashinai Railway is a set of six interconnected routes placed in a fictional Japanese-style environment. All routes operate on normal gauge (1435 mm) and make use of ATS and ATC as the train's safety system. Jens emphasis was to create fast-paced routes which are operated frequently, with short distances between the stations, and tight schedules. There is some variation you can encounter, be it local or express runs, available at sunrise, daytime, sunset or at night.
All of the three fictional types of trains that are in use in the network have been completely redesigned. Their cabs are now based on photographs found at Ellis and Tommy Railroad Page instead of using the old brownish cabs.
Additionally, some of the forest scenes have been redesigned, and new passengers have been added.
